Swami Devi Dyal Hospital & Dental College was established in the year 2004 with an intake of 100 students in BDS Course. The Govt. of India and Dental Council of India granted permission to start MDS in nine specialties with 3 seats each in the year 2011. The Institute is committed to provide the best education and inculcate personal qualities among the students. The college has an excellent infrastructure and has well equipped departments and laboratories serving the needs of both patients and students.
The Library has a collection of variety of books and journals for use by the faculty and the students. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and provides Hi-Speed Internet facility having a bandwidth of 16 Mbps.
Director Principal
Dr. Sanjay Chachra, Director Principal, graduated from Devi Ahliya University, Indore and did his MDS in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh.
He took over as the Director Principal of the Institution with effect from September 3, 2021.The Institution is bound to grow academically and intellectually under his guidance. He has more than 25 years of clinical and teaching experience in the field of dentistry. He is a dedicated academician and an efficient administrator. He is a man of knowledge and discipline. He is charismatic and make people perform to the best of their ability. He treats every one equanimously and works diligently and assiduously.
He has more than 50 national and international publications to his credit. He has attended various workshops and conferences at both national and international levels and has been a quest speaker in many scientific deliberations.
