Admission in Diploma Diploma Engg. Lateral Entry Course including TFW and EWSs category shall be made on the basis of the inter-se-merit og %age of qualifying examination

Program Objectives:

The diploma program at Swami Devi Dyal College of Technical Education seeks to provide the students with a broad education accentuating an excellent foundation in scientific and engineering fundamentals. What will you study ?

The Deptt. headed by Mrs Dimple Goyal, has well equipped labs, some of which are Analog electronics, Digital electronics, Design & Fabrication, Consumer electronics, Medical electronics, Wireless & Mobile communication & Microprocessor.

The students also update their knowledge during 8 week industrial attachment period at the end of 4th sem while working in pvt. & Govt reputed organisation's. As a part of curriculum students develop some projects of relevance during the final year. A few of such projects developed by the students are door sensors, Earthquake alarms, Automatic water level indicator, Regulated power supply etc. Our students have been well recieved in companies like HCL, Airtel, Wipro, L&T etc.

Scope of Course :

Electronics & Communication Engineering: Electronics & Communication Engineers can design and develop control systems. They also look after project management in terms of cost and time as well as optimisation of resources. They resolve problems with the existing machinery/ processes. They can also work as a Health and Safety Officer with manufacturing units to ensure compliance. As quality officers, they ensure quality standards of electronics.
