MCA
Admissions to MCA course shall be made on the basis of inter-se-merit of Online Entrance Test OLET (MCA-2016) through On-line Off-Campus counseling conducted by HSTES through NIC.
⇨ Admission to the 75% sanctioned intake in the first year of MCA course will be made on the basis of the result of the Online Entrance Test, OLET (MCA-2016) through Counselling of Haryana State Technical Education Society [HSTES].
⇨ The Management Quota seats (25% of the sanctioned intake including 15% seats for children/wards of NRIs) will be filled as per merit based on percentage of marks in Qualifying Examination.
BCA
Admissions to BCA course shall be made on the basis of merit in Qualifying Examination having minimum 50% marks.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
MCA
Pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
BCA
10+2 with Mathematics/Statistics with 50% marks.

MCA & BCA have the course contents : Computer Fundamentals and Programming with C, Computer Networks & Data communication, Software Engineering, Discrete Mathematical Structures, Computer Organizations, Numerical & Statistical Analysis, Data Structures using C, Object Oriented Programming & Structures, System Simulation, Operational Research, Oracle, Visual Basic, Java, Computer Graphics, Design & Analysis of Algorithms, Data Mining & Warehousing, Object Oriented Modeling, Management Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Linux and Shell Programming.
Computer Lab
The Institute has 4 well equipped Computer labs and a computer center having Internet facility. The major labs in the department include C, C++, Java Programming Lab, Linux lab, RDBMS Lab and Web Engineering Lab.
Faculty
The Department has a team of well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members. The faculty of MCA has published more than 12 research papers in the field of Computer Science and Applications in International & National journals and published one text book on Operation Research.
