Eligibility for M.Ed.
The candidate should have passed B.Ed./B.A., B.Ed./B.Sc., B.Ed./B.Com. examination from Kurukshetra University, or equivalent, with at least 45% marks (minimum pass marks for SC/ST candidates).

Eligibility for B.Ed.
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree or in the Master’s Degree of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, C.D.L.U., Sirsa or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereof, are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. program.

Eligibility for D.Ed.
Admission will be made on the basis of marks obtained in 10 + 2 examination. Counseling to be conducted by SCERT, Gurgaon.
Note:
(i) There shall be no rounding off of percentage of marks of the qualifying examination from 0.5% and above to next higher number for determining the eligibility i.e. 49.5% and above will not be rounded off to 50%.
(ii) 47.5% marks for SC/ST candidates.
(iii) 45% marks for blind / physically handicapped and visually impaired candidates.
(iv) Compartmental candidates will not be allowed admission in B.Ed. (regular course) in any case.,

A. For Science & Mathematics Group
B.Sc./B.Sc.(Hons.) or B.Sc.(Home Science) or B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.A. with Mathematics or Master’s Degree in Science / Home Science / Mathematics of Kurukshetra University or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate and minimum pass marks in case of SC/ST candidates.

B. For Humanities & Commerce Group
B.A./B.A.(Hons.)/B.Com/M.A./M.Com. examination of Kurukshetra University or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks in aggregate (minimum pass marks in case of SC Candidates) and 40% marks in case of totally blind candidates with at least one school subject at the graduation level. The Candidates must have studied English at the graduation level.

Fee Structure

Faculty
The College is having very well qualified and dedicated teachers and is duly approved by Kurukshetra University. M.Ed. classes are conducted by the senior teachers and the dissertations in the advanced areas of Education are taken up by M.Ed. students under the guidance of Senior Faculty.

Library & Laboratories
The college is having well stocked library with more than 10000 books, 15 Journals and 4 online Journals. It also has well equipped Resource Centers i.e. Language Resources Centre, ICT Resource Center, Science and Mathematics Resource Center, Health and Physical Education Resource Center, Psychology Resources Center, Art and Craft Resource Center, Social Studies Resource Center, Curriculum Laboratory etc.

Director
Dr SB Malhotra, Director of SDDCE, has over 47 years of teaching and research experience. He has participated in over 25 conferences internationally and published 3 text books for B. Ed./ M.Ed. Courses. He has been a member of Board of Studies in Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He has helped to finalize Curriculum Development work of B. Ed Course, as senior member of the team of Kurukshetra University.
